Recent times have witnessed several important milestones in the history of Slovak graphic art. The launch of the Trienniale of Modern Slovak Graphic Art and the opening of the permanent exhibition of Slovak graphic art works of the 20th century at the State Gallery in Banská Bystrica and the large exhibition of 20th century Slovak Graphic Art in the Bratislava City Gallery have brought contemporary Slovak graphic arts to the attention of a wider audience. The latter exhibition in particular offers an important insight into recent graphic art developments.
